HONOLULU - Alesha Robertson recorded her fourth-straight double-double to lead Texas Tech to a 67-53 victory over Denver in the consolation bracket of the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Wahine Classic.
Robertson finished with game highs of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Erin Myrick had her third-straight double-double with 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Lady Raiders (4-1) took control of the game from the first basket and never relinquished the lead the entire game. Tech's biggest advantage was 19 points with 1:30 to go in the game.
Tech went into the locker room at halftime with a 36-25 lead.
Also scoring in double figures for Tech was Brooke Baughman with 12 points. Baughman also tallied four steals in the game.
Denver (1-2) was led by Tyesha Lowery with 11 points.
Texas Tech shot 38.7 percent from the field (24-of-62) and outrebounded the Pioneers 48 to 31.
The Lady Raiders will face UCLA in the fifth-place game on Sun., Nov. 26, at 5:10 p.m. CST.
