
Texas Tech Falls At Mississippi

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Armintie Price had 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead Mississippi to a 72-69 victory over No. 14 Texas Tech on Wednesday night.
Danetra Forrest, Carla Bartee and Ashley Johnson each added 10 points for the Lady Rebels (3-0), who overcame a four-point deficit midway through the second half.
LaToya Davis had 19 points and Erin Grant added 13 for the Lady Raiders (1-3).
The Lady Rebels shot 51 percent from the field and outrebounded Texas Tech 42-28.
Texas Tech was coming off a 73-70 loss to Rice in which the Red Raiders trailed by 11. That game was played three days after Ole Miss routed the Owls 110-63.
