Szumanski Gets First Win at All-American

Lubbock, Texas - Bojan Szumanksi, a junior on the Texas tech men's tennis team, earned his first win at the ITA All-American Championships, in Tulsa, Okla., this afternoon.
Szumanski cruised over Max Jones of New Mexico, 6-3, 6-3. The Opole, Poland, native is now 1-1 in Tulsa.
He will face the winner of Nick Cavaday of N.C. State and Alex Slovic of Washington, at 9 a.m., on Fri., Oct. 7.
