Red Raider Tennis Finishes Day Two in College Station

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team completed day two of competition at the ITA South Central Regional Tournament, in College Station, Texas, today.
In the third round of consolation play, Jay Wofford won his first match as a Red Raider when he topped Nicholas Porter of UT-Pan American, 6-0, 6-3. He then fell to Alberto Sottocomo of Tulane, 6-1, 6-1. Michael Breler topped Jordan Freitas of TCU, 6-4, 6-4, and then cruised past Andrew Rust of UT- Pan American, 6-2, 6-0.
In the main draw, Szumanski, the top seed of the tournament, topped Jacobo Hernandez of Tulane, 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 and then fell to Andrey Kumantsov of Texas A&M- Corpus Christi, 6-3, 6-4. Adrian Prpic fell to Milan Mihailovic of Texas, 6-3, 6-1.
In doubles action, Breler and Dimitrio Martinez fell to Abreu and Tezza of TCU, 8-5.
