LUBBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team will officially start its fall season by competing in the Texas Fall tournament in Austin, Texas, Sept. 17-19. The three Red Raiders that will be competing are freshman Adrian Prpic, senior Michael Innerebner and sophomore Teddy DiBlasi.
Texas Tech comes off of a 12-12 overall record and a 2-5 Big 12 record. DiBlasi enters the tournament after posting a 7-7 singles record last spring, while Innerebner was 16-16 in singles. PrPic will be competing in his first collegiate tournament.
"We are looking forward to the first tournament," said head coach Tim Siegel. "There is going to be a strong field playing. These next couple of weeks will determine our line up for the spring."
The Red Raiders will be in action again next weekend Sept. 24-26 as they compete in the Baylor Intercollegiate and the Tulsa Invitational.
