
Men's Tennis Travels To Austin For Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech's men's tennis team hits the road to compete in the Wilson/ITA Men's South Central Championships in Austin, Texas. The entire team is scheduled to travel to Austin.
Texas Tech will face tough competition as the following schools will be represented in Austin: Baylor, Centenary, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, UT-Pan American, Prairie View A&M, Rice, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, TCU, Texas Southern, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio.
"We are looking forward to this tournament. All of the teams competing are great teams. It will be a good indication on how strong we are," stated head coach Tim Siegel.
The tournament will be held at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center and Whittaker Fields in Austin. The teams will begin action Oct. 22 and will conclude Oct. 25. This will wrap up fall play for the Texas Tech men's tennis team.
