
USTA Futures Main Draw Begins Tuesday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The USTA Futures Main Draw will begin Tues., Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center. The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. each day throughout the tournament.
Tuesday night starting at 7 p.m. will be the only night session of the tournament. Radek Nijaki, who will be Tech's No. 1 player when eligible in January, will play his first doubles match tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Nijaki will pair with Daniel Klemetz from Sweden in doubles action.
Also competing will be No. 21 Jakob Pauslen. Paulsen will compete against Tres Davis, who is formerly from Lubbock, Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Michael Innerebner and Esat Tanik will team up in doubles and take action Tuesday at 1 p.m. Jakob Paulsen and Bojan Szumanski will play in the doubles qualifying round at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The USTA Futures will continue through the week and wrap up on Sunday.
