The Golf Channel To Feature Rawls Course

LUBBOCK, Texas - - On Fri., Sept.12, The Golf Channel visited Lubbock, Texas and now the Rawls Course Opening will be aired. Today at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (CT), Golf Channel will be showing footage of the course opening including interviews, celebrity tournament and the 1958 golf team exhibition. On Tue., at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (CT), more of the course opening will be aired focusing on the appearance of The Best Damn Sports Show's Tom Arnold. Arnold attended the opening event, playing in the celebrity tournament.
On Wed. at 6:00 ET, The Golf Channel will feature the 1958 golf team exhibition, which took place on Sept. 14. The 1958 squad won the Southwest Conference Championship, the first for the program. The programs will be re-played throughout the week so check your local listing for The Golf Channel.
