NORMAN, Okla. - The Texas Tech women's soccer team fell this afternoon to the Oklahoma Sooners, 4-0, in Big 12 Conference play in Norman, Okla.
The Sooners (9-2-0, 2-0-0 Big 12) got on the board early as Dawson scored on a free kick over Tech goalkeeper Beth Lippert (Woodinville, Wash.) in the sixth minute to give OU the 1-0 advantage. Lippert played strong in the first period, making five saves as Tech was out shot 16-4. Each team forced one corner kick in the first frame, but Tech could not penetrate the Sooner defense to get a shot on goal.

MacIver scored her first goal of the match as she took a pass from Dawson and beat Lippert from 30 yards to push OU's lead to 2-0. A little over seven minutes later, MacIver added her second tally of the match, taking a pass from Shannon Wing and burying it into the back of the net for the 3-0 lead.
