Lady Raiders Cruise in Second Exhibition Game

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Lady Raider offense was too much to handle, as Texas Tech defeated the Houston Jaguars in its second exhibition game of the season, 96-48.
Tech connected on 11 three-point baskets as they glided past Houston. Lady Raider sophomore Natalie Ritchie led the team with seven three-pointers and 27 points. Junior Amber Tarr shot 90 percent from the field, connecting on 9-of-10 shot attempts, including 4-for-5 from three-point range.
Junior Plenette Pierson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Candi White dished out eight assists. Perkins added seven assists and three steals.
On the night, Tech shot 57.6 percent from the field, 44 percent from three-point range and 64.3 percent from the free throw line.
Next up for the Lady Raiders will be a match-up with Oregon State on Nov. 24 and Oregon on Nov. 26s.
