LUBBOCK, Texas-The Texas Tech Men's Tennis team received its first preseason ranking for the 2001-02 season by being ranked 20th by Bob Larson Sports in its preseason top 35 poll. Three other Big 12 schools are ranked in the top 35 poll: Baylor (9th), Texas (11th), and Texas A&M (15th).
