Tech Soccer Shutout By Bears, 7-0

Waco, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team dropped its 13 consecutive Big 12 Conference game 7-0 Sunday afternoon to the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas.
Baylor (8-6, 4-4) scored its first goal of the day and the game-winning goal in the 5th minute of play as Whitney Barrett scored her second goal of the season on an assist Candace Reilly.
Tech (4-12, 0-7) came out flat and only managed eight shots, one on goal, in the loss after taking 34 shots, 21 on goal, in a 6-1 win on Wednesday.
The Bears had eight players record at least one point led by Ginny Rosario-Tull and April Robertson's two goals each, followed by Barrett who added an assist in the 63rd minute on Rosario-Tull's second goal of the afternoon.
With the loss the Red Raiders are mathematically eliminated from the Big 12 Conference post-season tournament. Tech will play two more games on the road next weekend at Iowa State and at Nebraska before returning home for the season finale Fri., Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
