Turner Sets Personal-Best at Texas Relays

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech track and field teams concluded the final day of the Texas Relays with Evette Turner taking fourth place in the 1500 meters.
Turner ran to a fourth-place finish in a time of 4:26.37, which was a personal-best performance for the senior middle distance runner from Clarendon, Jamaica and is the fastest time by a Texas Tech athlete in the 1500m this year. Her previous best time was 4:27.81 at the Stanford Invitational in March.
Next up for the Red Raiders is the Mt. Sac Relays and the UTEP Medical Relays on April 15.
