Men's Tennis Looks To Snap Losing Streak

Texas Tech men's tennis, ranked No. 60 in the nation looks to snap a three-match losing streak against Nebraska on Sunday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at the Lubbock High School tennis courts. The Red Raiders enter the contest 7-10, 1-4 in league play, while Nebraska is 6-9 record overall and are 0-4 in league play.
The Red Raiders Ryan Shupe is on a two-match win streak, beating conference opponents from Baylor and Texas A&M. Shupe is 2-3 in league play and 2-0 when playing in position No. 3. Also, playing strong for Tech is sophomore, Jevgenij Cariov. Cariov enters the match 10-3, 3-2 in league action. In position No. 1, Borut Martincevic looks to bounce back after losing to the No. 2 ranked player in the nation.
Tech is undefeated all-time against Nebraska, with a 5-0 record. Following the battle with the Cornhuskers, the Red Raiders hit the road for two straight matches against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.
