Kansas Upsets Red Raiders in Tennis

LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Texas Tech men's tennis team was upset by the Knasas Jayhawks in action Saturday afternoon. The No. 56 ranked Red Raiders fell to the Jayhawks 5-2, dropping their record to 7-8 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12. The men received singles match victories from Borut Martincevic at the No. 1 position and from Jevgenij Cariov at No. 3. The men were able to manage only one victory in doubles play, allowing Kansas to take the doubles point. The men are back in action Monday when they face the No. 9 ranked Baylor Bears in Waco.
