Men's Tennis Looks to Keep Winning Streak Alive

LUBBOCK, Texas - - Texas Tech men's tennis ranked No. 56 in the nation travels to Kansas, Saturday, March 25 and Monday, March 27 to Baylor. Tech (7-7, 1-1) is tied with Kansas (4-6, 1-1) in the Big 12 standings and one match behind Baylor (11-3, 2-0).
Tech is on a three match win streak, beating Wisconsin, San Diego and conference opponent Colorado. Sophomore, Jevgenij Cariov leads the Tech squad by entering the weekend 8-2, 1-1. Freshman, Clay Estes has made his presence known with a 7-2 overall record. In doubles action, Tech's Estes and Patricio Espinosa enter the weekend undefeated in conference play, 2-0.
The Red Raiders are winless in their last five matches against the Jayhawks. Tech enters the match 0-5 all-time versus Kansas. Baylor has won two consecutive matches against Tech, but the Red Raiders lead the series 16-6 all-time.
