Men's Tennis Defeats Wisconsin 5-2

SAN DIEGO - The Texas Tech men's tennis team ended a five match losing streak with a 5-2 defeat of Wisconsin at the University of San Diego Tennis Courts last evening. Tech, currently ranked No. 46 in the nation, improved to 5-7 on the year while No. 65 Wisconsin fell to 5-5.\
Borut Martincevic and Jevgenij Cariov won their respective No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches. Clay Estes and Marino Baghdatiwon their singles matches to give Tech four points in the singles portion.
In doubles action Tech won the point with victories from their No. 1 team of Cariov and Martincevic and from the No. 2 combo of Ryan Shupe and Jeremy Earl.
The team is back in action this evening when they face San Diego in the final match of their road trip.
