Women's Tennis Falls To No. 21 Arizona

Texas Tech women's tennis team came up short to the University of Arizona in Tucson on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats ranked #21 defeated the Red Raiders 9-0. Tech drops to 1-3 on the year while Arizona moves on to 6-1.
Tech's No's. 1, 4 and 6 spots were able to avoid being held scoreless. Amanda Earhart, senior played consistent, but fell short 6-3, 6-3 to Michelle Gough of Arizona. In doubles Earhart and Ayako Suzuki loss the closest match for Tech, 8-4.
Tech continues a stint away from home to take on #11 Arizona State Sun Devils at the Robson Player Facility on Saturday, February 12 at 12:00 p.m. and will meet with the University of Northern Arizona on Sunday, February 13.
