NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Andy Ellis had a double-double to lead Texas Tech over Stephen F. Austin 80-56 Wednesday night.
Ellis scored 24 points and had 10 rebounds for the Red Raiders (5-1). He was among four players to finish in double digits. Mario Layne and James Ware each had 14 points and Rayford Young added 13.
Aaron Radl led the Lumberjacks (3-4) with 13 points and three players scored 10 points - Terrance Lofton, Ron Banks and Jermaine Lyons.
Texas Tech led 44-24 at the half, shooting 57 percent to SFA's 37 percent.
Ellis shot 10-of-14 from the field and was perfect at the free-throw line, making 4 of 4 shots.
The Lumberjacks, meanwhile, shot just 3 of 16 from 3-point territory.
