Aiden Kocol joined the Texas Tech Athletics Department in July of 2026 and serves as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications for women’s basketball and the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
In her role at Texas Tech, Kocol serves as the primary media relations contact for Lady Raiders basketball and the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Kocol arrived in Lubbock after two years with the UCF Athletics Department. During the 2025-26 season, she served as a staff assistant and was the primary communications contact for UCF women’s tennis and track and field, while also acting as the secondary men’s basketball contact.
During her time with the Knights, she helped lead communications efforts for a nationally ranked women’s tennis program, creating social media content and coordinating media outreach during the program’s second consecutive Big 12 regular-season title and 11th NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. She also supported UCF men’s basketball, playing a key role in promoting the team’s 12-1 start as it earned its first AP Top 25 ranking in more than five years. Additionally, Kocol assisted the men’s basketball program during its run in the Big 12 Tournament and its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019.
Prior to joining the UCF staff, Kocol served as an athletic communications intern during the 2024-25 season.
A native of Evergreen, Colorado, Kocol graduated from Clear Creek High School before attending UCF. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising from UCF in May 2026.
