SENIOR SEASON (2016)
One of only two Red Raiders in 2016 to start all 31 matches ... became only the third Red Raider in program history selected AVCA All-Southwest Region in back-to-back seasons ... also earned her third-straight All-Big 12 Second Team nod ... finished second in school history with a .343 career hitting percentage ... tied or led the team in kills in 22 matches while also tying or leading in hitting percentage 13 times ... the overall team leader in kills (343) and kills per set (3.06) ... followed her record-setting .377 hitting percentage in 2015 with a .340 clip in her senior season ... named MVP of the Texas Tech Invitational after posting 51 kills and 20 blocks in four games ... hit .400 or better in 10 matches ... posted a career-best .773 hitting percentage at Portland State (Aug. 27) that ranks sixth all-time in a single match in Texas Tech history ... recorded double-digit kills in 19 matches, including a stretch of six straight during Big 12 play (Oct. 21-Nov. 12) ... tallied a season-high 18 kills on senior night against TCU (Nov. 19) on a career-high 41 attempts ... opened the season with double-digit kills in five of the first seven matches including 12 in the season opener against Colorado (Aug. 26) ... registered 15+ kills on nine occasions and 17+ in four matches ... also led the team at the line blocking with 21 solo blocks and 93 block assists for a total of 114 ... finished her career in eighth place at Texas Tech with 253 career block assists ... named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
The only Red Raider in 2015 to start in all 30 matches ... was named to the AVCA All-Southwest Region team ... also earned her second-straight All-Big 12 second team nod ... led the team in kills and hitting percentage in 13 matches ... overall, she was the team leader in total kills (280) and kills per set (2.95) ... set the school record for season hitting percentage, recording an average of .377, shattering the previous-best of .358 by Yolanda Cumbess in 2001 ... picked up All-Tournament team honors in all four tournaments, including Tournament MVP at the Texas Tech Invitational ... hit .400 or better in 13 matches, including a season-high .688 against Columbia on Sept. 4 ... in that match she posted 12 kills on 16 attacks, with only one error ... tallied 10+ kills in 10 separate matches ... opened the season with 13 against Utah State ... posted three-straight matches with 16 or more kills ... went back-to-back 16 kill performances against George Washinton (.667) and at UTEP (.406) ... completed the three-match streak with a career-high 20 against Portland State ... also led the team at the line blocking with 19 solo and 70 assisted blocks for a total of 89 ... she owned three of the top four single-match attack percentages in the Big 12 ... was also named to the 2016 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014)
Douglass burst on to the scene early for Tech, winning tournament MVP awards at two of Tech's first four tournaments ... She was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 1, becoming the first Red Raider in program history to win the award ... She was also named Big 12 Co-Rookie of the week on Sept. 22 ... Douglass ranked second on the team in kills, with 272 ... She finished the year ranked ninth in the Big 12 in hitting percentage, at .303, but had more kills and swings than anyone else in the top 10.

Redshirt season at Ole Miss ... transferred to Texas Tech during the summer of 2013.
MARCUS HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner for Marcus High School ... helped school advance to the regional finals all three years ... was an AVCA All-American Watch List as a senior ... was also recognized as an AVCA High School All-American nominee ... named to the All-District 8-5A first team after leading Marcus in kills as a senior ... also earned special recognition to the Lonestarvolleyball.com All-Texas Team that year ... was the district's Offensive Player of the Year as a junior ... an all-area second team seam selection for 2010 ... was a special mention All-American by Prep Volleyball as a junior as well ... was the team's Blocker of the Year and was fourth in the area for the category ... began her career as a first team All-District 6-5A selection as a sophomore ... was the varsity's Offensive Player of the Year that year as well ... also participated on the track team as a sophomore ... advanced to the state meet in the high jump as a senior where she would finish ninth overall ... competed three seasons for the track program.

Lauren Douglass ... born December 5, 1993, to parents Bill and Susan Douglass ... both parents are graduates of Ole Miss ... has two older siblings, Chase and Jennifer ... comes from an athletic family ... mother was a volleyball standout at Ole Miss ... her sister also played volleyball at Tarleton State while her brother played football at the Air Force Academy ... an exercise sports science major with a minor in biology ... hopes to attend physical therapy school following graduation.
