A vocal leader, appeared in six matches for the Red Raiders … recorded two assists and a service ace on the year … recorded playing time in three Big 12 matches, including both contests against Texas … a model scholar that was recognized for the second straight year with a 4.00 GPA and Academic All-big 12 First Team honors.
JUNIOR SEASON (2017)
Appeared in nine matches while making three starts … the team’s primary reserve setter … finished second on the team in assists with 118 … averaged 6.21 assists per set … led Tech to a win over Kansas State in her third career start, recording 43 assists and 17 digs for her first career double-double (Oct. 28) … finished with 25 assists in a three-set match at Kansas (Oct. 21) … tallied her first career 20-assist match against Dartmouth (Sept. 2) … named to the 2017 Academic All-Big 12 First Team … one of four Big 12 student-athletes to post a 4.00 GPA.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016)
Appeared in 11 matches, making two starts at setter for the Red Raiders ... posted 55 assists on the year, including a season-high 17 at UTSA (Sept. 16) ... made her first career start at TCU (Sept. 21), recording 13 assists and eight digs along with a kill... also tallied nine digs in a start at Kansas (Oct. 8) ... finished with 16 digs and two service aces.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2015 - OKLAHOMA)
Appeared in three sets during her first year at Oklahoma in matches against UTEP & West Virginia… notched four assists against West Virginia. Was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and made the Dean’s List.
MIDLAND HIGH SCHOOL
Played 4 years of varsity volleyball in Midland… All-District selection all four years… earned Pre Season Tournament MVP & Outstanding Setter awards… Academic All District… Member of National Honor Society, Texas Scholar, Historian of Students in Philanthropy, Homecoming Court & Prom Court, & received Principal’s Outstanding Student Award.
CLUB
Helped lead West Texas Amped to Nationals and a spot on the “Tour of Texas”. Named to the “All-Texas Team” by Lone Star Volleyball and played on the USA Regional High Performance Team.

Born in Odessa, Texas. Parents are Boyd & Teri Cowan… Dad played Football and was a Captain for Texas Tech… Mom was a Twirler for the Texas Tech Band…Sister, Kylie played volleyball at the University of Oklahoma ... Majoring in communications.
