SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025)
Made 50 appearances and 14 starts in her return to Lubbock… was a threat as a runner on the bases and had arguably the highlight of the season when she stole against UCLA (5/31) in the Women’s College World Series to break a 0-0 tie in the fifth inning… went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a triple in Tech’s win over Detroit Mercy (2/21)… recorded a hit and later came around to score a run in the championship series finale against Texas (6/6).
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH (UT-Tyler)
Spent her freshman year at UT-Tyler where she hit .362 in 130 at-bats and started in 47 of the 51 games she played, mainly as a designated player… She was named the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year for her performance on the field and picked up All-Lone Star Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team honors... Garcia helped the Patriots win the DII Women’s College World Series this past season as they maintained a top five ranking for most of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Hit .535 and was twice named to the TGCA All-State Team during her prep career at Frenship High School... Earned First Team All-District Honors on three different occasions and was the District MVP in 2022 and 2023... Selected to the THSCA Super Elite Team... Played travel ball for Glory Adkins Gold under coach Jack Fultz.
