2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Made one appearance on the year against Lamar (9/8) … member of the travel party for several games late in the season ... scout team member.
Did not play in first season as a Red Raider … scout team member.
2016 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Redshirt season at Angelo State … transferred to Texas Tech prior to the spring semester.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Idalou High School in Idalou, Texas … one of the top running backs on the South Plains during his prep career … rushed for 3,186 yards and an impressive 39 touchdowns as a senior in 2015 … also returned a punt, kick and an interception for a touchdown … averaged 230 yards per game on the ground during the regular season … was a standout corner in addition to his role as the Wildcat’s primary rushing option … helped lead Idalou to the Class 3A Division II state semifinals his senior year … rushed for 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the state semifinal game … named to the Class 3A All-State team by the Texas Associated Press Editors … recognized as the Lone Star Varsity Player of the Year by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal ... award honored him as the top player in the Lubbock area for all classifications … combined for 1,833 total yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior to earn Lone Star Varsity third team accolades … highly successful in track and field as well, qualifying for the state meet in the long jump his senior year … also qualified for the regional meet in both the 100 and 200-meter dash … recognized as a top scholar-athlete at the Texas Tech chapter’s annual National Football Foundation banquet.

Brandt Schilling … son of Bart and Laura Schilling … one of four children … has two brothers, Bryce and Brady, and a younger sister, Brooke … a kinesiology major at Texas Tech.
