Tech trio tabbed to spring watch list for Haskins Award
March 09, 2026 | Men's Golf
COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Haskins Foundation announced on Monday morning that Texas Tech's Adam Bresnu, Connor Graham, and Tim Wiedemeyer were each named to the 2026 Haskins Award Spring Watch List.
The spring watch list is limited to 20 individuals for the award that annually recognizes the most outstanding NCAA Division I male college golfer. Texas Tech and Virginia are two of the only programs in the country that feature three individuals from the same team.Â
Two additional watch lists will be released as the spring season progresses: a 15-player Postseason Watch List (released after Conference Championships) and the Final Watch List with 10 players on May 22.
The Haskins Foundation will celebrate the accomplishments of its Finalists at the 3rd Annual Haskins Honors presentation on Wednesday, May 27, for the ten Finalists, their coach, and their parents. Voting for the 2026 Haskins Award will conclude on Monday, June 1, at the conclusion of the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championships.Â
All three Red Raiders – Bresnu, Graham, and Wiedemeyer – were previously named to the final fall watch list for the 2025-2026 Haskins Award. Graham was tabbed to the initial preseason watch list in August, while Bresnu and Wiedemeyer were added to the end-of-fall edition. Texas Tech was the only college golf program to feature three individuals on the Haskins Award final fall watch list of 25 golfers.
The Red Raiders are ranked No. 11 in the latest Clippd by Scoreboard rankings released March 4, while the Texas Tech trio was ranked No. 7 (Bresnu), No. 9 (Graham), and No. 20 (Wiedemeyer) by the service. Additionally, the most recent Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll pegged the Red Raiders No. 11 on March 6.
2026 Haskins Award Spring Watch List
