Temitope, Snow earn Bowerman recognition
March 05, 2026 | Track and Field
It’s the first time this season two Red Raiders land on the watch list
NEW ORLEANS – Temitope Adeshina and Malachi Snow were named to The Bowerman Watch List, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. Adeshina appears on the list for the second time in her career, while Snow makes his debut.
Adeshina is undefeated this season in the high jump, winning each competition by at least 1.93m (6-4) or higher. Her season best jump so far has come at 1.97m (6-5- ½), which was at the Razorback Invitational. She won the Big 12 title last weekend clearing 1.96m (6-5 ¼) – her third-straight indoor title. In the two previous updates, Adeshina was receiving votes.
Snow did all his damage in a matter of 20 minutes last weekend, first winning the 60m hurdles (7.43) for second-straight season before taking home to 60m dash title (6.46). Both his times went down as meet records and new personal bests as his 60m time is the second-fastest time in NCAA history, making him the fifth-fastest performer in that event – 0.01 off the collegiate record.
Snow was named the Big 12 Performer of the Year earlier this afternoon, making him the fourth Red Raider all-time to win the award and second in the last four seasons (Caleb Dean, 2023-24).
The next update to the Bowerman Watch List will be on Mar. 25.
