Graham named to Haskins Award preseason watch list
August 25, 2025 | Men's Golf
COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Haskins Foundation announced on Monday morning that Texas Tech's Connor Graham was named to the preseason watch list for the 2025-2026 Haskins Award, presented by Stifel. The sophomore was one of 25 recognized for the award that annually recognizes the most outstanding NCAA Division I male college golfer.
Entering only his second season with the Red Raiders, Graham is coming off a freshman campaign where he led the team with the team's lowest scoring average (71.1), earned Big 12 All-Tournament Team honors, and was named one of five freshmen in college golf to the GCAA All-Freshman Team. Graham, who was selected to play in the 50th Walker Cup match earlier this month, is set to start his season with the Red Raiders at the Carmel Cup, Aug. 29-31 at Spyglass Hill in Pebble Beach, and remain on the road to compete with Team GB&I against the United States, Sept. 6-7, at the Walker Cup at nearby Cypress Point.
Texas Tech is accustomed to being involved with the Haskins Award in recent years, having Calum Scott tabbed for the award watch list last year, while Ludvig Aberg won the award on May 23, 2023.Â
