This meet concludes the regular season for the Red Raiders
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team hosts its final regular season meet of the year Thursday and Friday at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track and Field Complex.
The Corky/Crofoot Shootout marks the final meet before the 2025 Big 12 Outdoor Championships May 15-17 hosted by Kansas.

In the week five USTFCCCA rankings released Tuesday afternoon, the men came in ranked No. 9, while the women received the No. 15 ranking.
Last Time Out
The Red Raiders traveled to Austin for the second time this outdoor season competing in the Texas Invitational. Notable highlights included performances by Fanny Arendt and Konner Wood. Arendt posted an 800m time of 2:04.49 to move to No. 2 all-time in the Texas Tech record book. Meanwhile, Wood threw the hammer 64.32m (twice), also moving to No. 2 all-time in the Tech top-10. His throw was just one centimeter shy of tying the school record.
In The Know
Victoria Gorlova will look to make her debut in the triple jump this weekend. In an indoor meet earlier in the year, Gorlova leaped 14.02m, currently ranking her No. 14 in the world. Desean Boyce is still on the hunt for a 400m time for the NCAA West regional.
Solomon Kipchoge is slated to go in the 5k after only having a 1500m race in this outdoor season. Malachi Snow achieved a 110m hurdles regional mark last week in Austin going 13.38 as he is penciled in for only that event this week.
