Tech returns home next weekend for the Corky/Crofoot meet
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team completed the final day of the Texas Invite Friday afternoon at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Throws highlighted the early portion of the meet as Konner Wood was just one centimeter shy of tying the school record in the hammer throw. Wood threw 64.33m (211-1) twice to place second in the event as he finished with a new PB mark and moved to No. 2 all-time in Texas Tech history. Over on the women's side, Shelby Frank placed second throwing 65.35m (214-5).
Malachi Snow solidified a time for regionals this year winning the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.38 (-1.7w), moving to No. 6 all-time in Tech history. He later placed second (top collegian) in the 100m running a 10.16 (+1.5w).
In the women's 800m, Fanny Arendt won the event clocking in at 2:04.49, giving her the No. 2 all-time place in the Texas Tech top-10. She is the first Red Raider to land inside the top-10 since 2022.

·     Shaemar Uter won the 400m with a SB 45.52
·     Amori Pierson finished 2nd in the shot put throwing 16.91m (55-5 ¾)
