The Red Raiders embark on their second outdoor meet of the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team travels down to Austin this weekend for the 97th annual Texas Relays presented by Truist. Tech will compete Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Last Time Out
The Red Raiders opened the outdoor season at the TCU Alumni Invite and at the Wes Kittley Invite hosted by ACU. In Fort Worth, throws highlighted the two-day meet, as Shelby Frank and Konner Wood registered top-10 all-time Texas Tech marks.
In the discus, Frank set a new PB throw of 61.25m (200-11), putting her No. 2 all-time. In the hammer throw, Wood went 63.2m (207-5), putting him No. 3 all-time.

The week one USTFCCCA team rankings are set to debut next Tuesday, April 1.
In the Know
A majority of Red Raiders who competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships two weeks ago will look to debut their outdoor season this weekend. Antoine Andrews and Malachi Snow are slated to go in the 110m hurdles and on the 4x100.
Sean Gribble will pole vault, while Naomi Krebs will go in the 100m hurdles. Across the board, Tech will be represented in just over 20 events this weekend.
