Team/Event Notes:
- Texas Tech is set to return to the Valspar Augusta Invitational, where it last played in 2019 (spring) and won the event behind a lineup that featured current staff member Anna Dong, and a pair of future professional golfers in Sofia Garcia and Amy Taylor. Garcia won the individual title while Taylor earned a top-five finish.
- The event will be held at Forest Hills Golf Club, in Augusta, Ga., located less than five miles from the famed Augusta National Golf Club.
- Texas Tech's next event following the Valspar Augusta Invitational (March 15-16) will also take place in Georgia as the Red Raiders will play in the Pinetree Intercollegiate at Pinetree Country Club (March 24-25). Less than 200 miles separate the two destinations as Pinetree CC is located outside of Atlanta, Ga. The Red Raiders will remain in the Peach State throughout their golf calendar with the university's Spring Break taking place in between those two dates.
- Texas Tech has participated in eight tournaments this season. Its top finish was winning its home event (856, -8), the Red Raider Invitational. Its top finish away from home was a tie for fourth (849, -15) at the Jim West Challenge, hosted by Texas State. Both were contested in the fall.
- The Red Raiders' home course, The Rawls Course, is one of six NCAA Regional sites this spring.
- Texas Tech is led by head coach JoJo Robertson, who is in her 15th season at the helm. She is assisted by Anna Dong (hired on Aug. 27, 2024). Dong was the 2023 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year who played five seasons for Robertson.
