Arendt becomes the first Tech female runner to break 2:05 in the 800m
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team capped off the final day of the Stan Scott Invite and Multis Saturday afternoon inside the Sports Performance Center.
For a second-straight week, Fanny Arendt broke the school 800m record, lowering her time from last week to 2:04.10. In the process, she becomes the first female runner in school history to go sub-2:05. With the altitude conversion, the time should put her near the top-5 in the NCAA.
