The two-time National Champion made 30 career starts at FSU in net
LUBBOCK, Texas – After another 14-win season and its third-straight NCAA Round of 32 appearance, Texas Tech Soccer and head coach Tom Stone have announced the addition of two-time NCAA National Champion and former FSU GK Addie Todd to the Red Raider squad.
A native of Littleton, Colo., Todd will enroll at Texas Tech ahead of the start of the 2026 Spring semester after a decorated career that saw the goalkeeper make 30 total appearances (all starts) and record a career GAA of 0.94 at FSU.
Todd was a member of both the Noles 2023 and 2025 NCAA Championship teams and was a three-time ACC Champion.
After taking a redshirt season in 2023 when FSU won its fourth all-time title, Todd earned the starting goalkeeper role ahead of the 2024 season, playing and starting in all 21 matches.
Todd helped FSU record a 15-2-4 mark overall and a 7-2-1 mark in ACC play, as the Seminoles won their fifth-straight ACC Tournament Crown.
Making 50 saves and recording 10 total clean sheets in her 21 contests, Todd made a major impact for the Noles during the ACC Tournament run as she made two clutch PK saves in the ACC Semifinal upset victory over No. 3 Wake Forest.
In the ACC title game against 2024 National Champion UNC, Todd made three clutch saves to propel FSU to its 11 all-time ACC Tournament title. For her heroics in the entire tournament, Todd took home All-Tournament honors.
After a strong 2024 campaign, Todd again returned as the starter for FSU in 2025, as the Colorado native made nine appearances (all starts) in 2025 and recorded a 6-2-1 record as the FSU starter. Todd started the year 6-0-1 with and allowed just one goal in the seven starts before suffering back-to-back defeats to No. 1 Stanford and No. 2 Notre Dame.
Against the top-ranked Cardinal, Todd made four saves in a 2-1 setback.
In her career, Todd is 21-4-5 in her 30 career starts and has 14 career shutouts in those 30 all-time starts. No stranger to high level competition at both the club and collegiate level, Todd was a member of both the USYNT U-15 and U-20 squads and was a U17 ECNL All-American and U17 ECNL National Champion.
Todd will look to be the next in a strong linage of Texas Tech goalkeepers, as the Red Raiders have seen their keeper named an All-Big 12 selection in the each of the last four seasons.
As previously stated, Todd will enroll at Texas Tech ahead of the start of the 2026 Spring semester on Jan. 14.
HEAD COACH TOM STONE:
"We're thrilled to welcome Addie to Texas Tech. We've had a run of elite level goalkeepers thorough the years, and we were fortunate to find Faith Nguyen two years ago. And now having Addie Todd come available continues a tradition of top-level goalkeepers playing in net for us. Blair Quinn is a great developer of talent, and this is a young lady who had started 30 games in the ACC and been on a two-time National Championship squad. She's won the ACC as well and has seen it all. Addie has big dreams and goals that match ours. And I know we are very fortunate to have her coming to the Red Raiders. She seems like an absolutely ideal fit, from her family, to her personality, to her drive and her values. Addie Todd is going to be tremendous for us. Addie is extremely talented and technical, and her experience at the highest levels of youth and college have been excellent. She wants to be a pro goalkeeper, so she is eager to learn and grow under Blair, and I think she's going to have a leadership role here based on her voice and drive as well as the experience she has. She's explosive and can make the big save and we've gotten used to that around here with the caliber of goalkeeper that we've had. And we're happy that trend will continue around here."
