
Texas Tech Announces Bowl Ticket Sellout

Texas Tech has sold out of its ticket allotment for the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl. Kickoff for the Dec. 29 game is slated for 8 p.m. on ESPN.

Following the official bowl announcement on Sunday, Dec. 6, Tech fans quickly began purchasing tickets for the Dec. 29 game against No. 20 ranked LSU.
"This is a testament to the enthusiasm our fans have for Texas Tech Football," Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt said. "Each year I continue to be amazed by the commitment and dedication of our passionate fan base."
For the 22nd year, Texas Tech will play a bowl game in the state of Texas. It also marks the fifth time in program history that Texas Tech will play a bowl game in Houston. Tech's last bowl game in Houston was in 2012, a 34-31 win over Minnesota at NRG Stadium. The Red Raiders have won four consecutive bowl games, the longest current bowl win streak in the Big 12 Conference.
Texas Tech (7-5) will face No. 20 LSU (8-3) in the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. CT for a nationally televised broadcast on ESPN.
