
Tech Moves Up to No. 3 in USTFCCCA Rankings

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's cross country team, coming off its third-straight Big 12 Championship, moved up one spot in the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ranking to No. 3.
The ranking is the highest ever for the women's cross country program. The previous high has been No. 4, where the team has been for a majority of the season. The Lady Raiders won the 2010 Big 12 Cross Country Championship in Stillwater, Okla., this past weekend after placing four runners on the All-Big 12 team and five in the top 20.
The Lady Raiders and Red Raiders next meet will be the NCAA Mountain Regionals in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Sat., Nov. 13.
