Panorama Farms Invitational Preview
LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders and No. 4 Lady Raiders cross country teams will be headed to Charlottesville, Va., to run at the Panorama Farms Invitational on Fri., October 15 held by the University of Virginia.
The men and women are coming off of a successful week after winning the Richard Clark Invitational. The Lady Raiders take a streak of three-straight team titles into the meet while the men have won the last two meets.
The Lady Raiders have had five runners in the top 10 of every race this season. Rose Tanui and Caroline Jepleting have paced the squad finishing in the top five of every race this season. Silas Kemboi and Gilbert Limo on the men's side have also accomplished being top five in every race.
The field at the Panorama Farms Invitational includes East Carolina, Longwood, UNC-Charlotte, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth and Wake Forest. The Duke men who are No. 10 will be running as well. Virginia is ranked No. 17 on the men's side and No. 20 in the women's rankings.
The Panorama Farms Invitational will be the final meet before the Big 12 Championships held on Sat., October 30 in Stillwater, Okla.
