
CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS EARN USTFCCCA ACADEMIC HONORS

The Texas Tech men's and women's cross country squads were recognize, by the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as one of the All-Academic teams in Division I cross country.
In order for a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, schools must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.0 team cumulative grade point average.
The men's squad was among the three Big 12 teams to make the list, Oklahoma State and Missouri were the other two schools honored. The men's team had a team cumulative grade point average of 3.18. The women were among eight Big 12 teams, which also included, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma and the Lady Raider squad had a team cumulative grade point average of 3.05.
