
Badaru Wins Big 12 Co-Runner of the Week

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Lillian Badaru was honored as the Big 12 Co-Runner of the Week for her fourth-place performance at the Notre Dame Invitational last Saturday.
Badaru ran the 5K course in a time of 16:39 and recorded her second top-five finish of the season. She ran in a field that included two All-Americans and finished in fourth at the Notre Dame Invitational. It is the first honor for a Lady Raider this season and the first of Badaru's career.
Beverly Ramos of Kansas State shared the honor as she won her third individual title.
Badaru and the Lady Raiders next race will be the Chili Pepper Festival held at Fayetteville, Ark., on Sat., Oct., 17th.
