
Cypert Named Big 12 Chick-Fil-A Community Champion

Lubbock, Texas - For her accomplishments off the field, Texas Tech soccer player Kim Cypert will be named this week's Big 12 Chick-Fil-A Community Champion Saturday on FSN's Big 12 Showcase.
Along with being a regular member on both the Dean's and President's lists, Cypert has volunteered for various organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society. She has also participated in the Texas Tech Athletic Playday and Women's Leadership Program.
Cypert is a senior studio art major from Sugar Land, Texas. She was named to the Academic All-Big 12 soccer first team last season. Through the Texas-San Antonio match, Cypert had started in three matches tallying four shots in that time.
