Tech takes the field
Texas Tech came out sporting their all black uniforms. The last time Tech wore all black was in their 35-7 win over Texas A&M.

Blackout looks good
If you are still planning on coming to the game be sure to put on your black. Tech fans are trying to blackout OU tonight in support of the Red Raiders. At this point is seems to be fairly successful. The majority of the student section, which is already full, is covered and black and the rest of the fans are following suit.

Tech on offense to start the game
Texas Tech won the toss and elected to receive. Oklahoma will kickoff to start the game and defend the north endzone. Weather conditions at kickoff are as follows: 66 degrees with 33% humidity and the wind is out of the NE at 7 mph.

Harrell throws interception
Tech quarterback Graham Harrell threw an interception that Lendy Holmes returned 63 yards for a touchdown. The pick-6 is the third thrown by Harrell this season. The last one was against Colorado. The interception ended a decent looking drive for the Red Raiders.

Tech's second drive stalls
Tech's second offensive possession ended in a 3-and-out. We will get our first look at OU's offense after the TV time out

Tech's Defense answers call
On Oklahoma's first play from scrimmage Allen Patrick fumbles the ball and is recovered by Marlon Williams, giving Tech the ball on Oklahoma's 34-yard line.

Trlica matches season long
Tech place kicker Alex Trlica matched his season long field goal with his 51-yard field goal to get Tech on the board. OU now leads 7-3

Defense holds
Tech's defense looks to be playing with a lot of emotion early on. After giving up a quick first down, then help OU right there. The defense looks to be swarming to the ball all over the field. Tech fans in attendance are making the stadium a hard place to play.

Trlica brings Tech to within 1
Alex Trlica hit is second FG of the game when he connected on a 38-yard field goal. The drive was kept alive by a 4th and 2 scramble by Graham Harrell. The 11 scamper was the longest of the season for Harrell. OU still leads 7-6.

Oklahoma brings in a new QB
After an apparent injury to starter Sam Bradford, backup Joey Halzle has come in at QB. Halzle has played in 6 games and has been 7-8 for 133-yards and a touchdown.

Defense helps Offense
After a big return for OU, the Tech defense held their ground and forced OU to punt. The ensuing punt went off the side of Michael Cohen's foot and gave Tech great field position. The first play of the drive was a 60-yard pass from Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree. The play was originally ruled a touchdown, but after an official review the ball was placed at the 1-yardline. Harrell did the rest himself, rushing in for the touchdown. Trlica added the PAT to give Tech a 13-7 lead.

Tech comes out with emotion
At the end of the 1st Quarter one thing is evident, Tech is not afraid of Oklahoma's high rank. The defense has played sound and fast, while the offense has been efficient. The Jones is rocking and rolling.

Crabtree adds to total
Michael Crabtree caught is nation leading 21st touchdown on the season. The 13-yard pass from Harrell caped off a 10-play drive.

Trlica sets NCAA mark
PK Alex Trlica set the NCAA career record for extra points made with his 227th, breaking the previous record of 226 set by Bowling Green's Shaun Suisham (2001-2004). Trlica also holds the NCAA mark for career extra points without a miss.

Defense continues to play hard
Tech's defense forced their 4th punt of the game, against only giving up 2 first downs.

Tech scores again
Graham Harrell connected with Eric Morris for a 15-yard touchdown pass. The touchdown reception was his 9th of the season. With Trlica's PAT, Tech now leads 27-7.

Crawford fumbles
Aaron Crawford fumbled a reception from Graham Harrell on the OU 40. Tech will look for its' defense to make another stop.

Defense forces Oklahoma to settle
As the first half comes to a close, the defense made one of the biggest stands of the year. With OU driving in for a score the defense help for 3 straight plays on the one to force the Sooners to kick a FG. The score now stands at 27-10 Tech.

Red Raiders play hard
Tech came into the game as underdogs and played the first half like they don't care. Take away the pick-6 to start the game. The Red Raiders have played one of their best halves of the season. The offense has been crisp and efficient, but the big story is the defense. OU came into the game as the number 17th ranked offense in the country averaging 459.6 yards per contest. Through the first half the Tech defense has held them to 112 yards on just 7 first downs. At the half Tech leads 27-10.

Halftime Stats
Graham Harrell leads the way for Tech on 30-47 passing for 284 yards and 2 TDs. The leading receiver is Michael Crabtree with 9 catches for 141 yards and 1TD. Joining Crabtree is Aaron Crawford, Danny Amendola and Eric Morris who each have over 30 yards receiving. Tech as gained 312 total yards on 53 plays.
Oklahoma is lead by DeMarco Murray who has 67 yards rushing on 10 carries. Backup QB Joey Halzle is 4-10 for 24 yards. OU has gained 112 yards on 33 plays.

Big play on Special Teams
After another defensive stop the OU special teams makes a mistake. The punt snap was botched and punter Michael Cohen attempted to run for the first down but was stopped. Tech takes over on their OU's side of the field.

Crawford gets Tech back on the board
After the special team blunder. Aaron Crawford made the Sooners pay when he punched the ball into pay dirt from 3-yards out. After Trlica's PAT the score moves to 34-10, Tech.

Defense keeps Sooners out of endzone
The Sooners seemed to be ready to answer Tech's latest score, but the defense caused the drive to stall after 9 plays. The big play of the series was a sack on third down by Daniel Howard. The sack forced a 33-yard Hartley FG. Tech now leads 34-13.

Trlica misses second 51-yard attempt
Alex Trlica missed a 51-yard field goal after Tech's drive stalled. The field goal had plenty of distance but drilled the right upright. OU will takeover on their own 34-yard line.

The defense forced another 3-and-out after the missed FG. OU has been forced to punt 6 times, against only 1 from Tech.

OU's defense stopped Tech for three straight plays and forced them to punt for only the second time tonight.

Offense gives the ball right back after Parker interception
Chris Parker intercepted Joey Halzle and returned it 15-yards to the OU 6. On the next play Graham Harrell's pass was tipped by Jeremy Beal and intercepted by Curtis Lofton. OU takes over deep in their own territory.

Tech enters the 4th quarter only 15-minutes away from upending the 3rd ranked Sooners.

Jonathan LaCour was able to pin the Sooners deep into their own territory. After the offense could not get any significant drive going, LaCour put the ball inside OU's 10.

On 4th and 7 Tech's defense made the play when they had too. Jamar Wall was able to break-up a pass in the endzone.

As they have done the entire night the defense made plays when they really needed to. The 4th down attempted pass to Malcolm Kelly was broken up in the endzone, and the Red Raiders took over on downs.

The Red Raiders have upset the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners 34-27 on Senior Day.
