"This was an incredibily hard-fought, difficult match," said head coach Tim Siegel. "We knew going in to the match it was going to be a tough one. OU is a very good team that is a lot better than their ranking. We were fortunate to get this win. And Radek has been a rock to our team at No. 1 singles, winning his last six matches."
The Red Raiders will not be back in action until April 8, when they will travel to Austin, Texas, to face No. 27 Texas at 1 p.m. On April 9, Tech will travel to College Station, Texas, to compete against No. 15 Texas A&M at 6 p.m. The match at Texas A&M will be televised by Cox Sports Television (CST) on a tape delayed status and will air on Wed., April 20, at 4 p.m.
