DALLAS, Texas - Freshman midfielder Ashley Reed was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for her efforts during Tech's match with Missouri this past weekend.
The Aledo, Texas native scored her third goal of the season against Missouri this weekend. She has started and played in 16 games this season. Reed is currently ranked third on the team in points scored with seven and goals with three. Reed has registered 13 shots and eight shots on goal during the season. Reed has tallied three goals and one assist during her freshman campaign.
Red Raider soccer will conclude its regular season schedule as they return home to R.P. Fuller Stadium to battle the Baylor Bears, Fri., Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the 2004 season are available by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 742-TECH (8324) or (888) GO-BIG-12.
