LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer team will end the 2003 season tonight in Waco as the Red Raiders will take on the Baylor Bears at 7 p.m. at Betty Lou Mays Field on the Baylor campus.
Texas Tech (3-12-1, 2-7-0) was eliminated from the Big 12 Conference Tournament on Sunday despite a 3-1 win over the Missouri Tigers. Iowa State came back and tied Baylor thus mathematically eliminating the Red Raiders from the post-season.
Three seniors will be taking the field for the final time tonight as Tiana Boyea, Catie Arsenault and Kerri Campbell will all be playing the final games of their career. Texas Tech will be in search of its first three-win conference season since 1999 when the Red Raiders went 4-6-0 in league play. Baylor enters the game with a 1-6-2 mark in Big 12 play and stands at 6-9-2 on the season.
