At the Lobo Invitational, they finished in second place followed by a 16th place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, the team's most competitive tournament of the season. At Cowboy Jamboree the women's team again finished in first. The team concluded regular season place turning in a second place finish at the Chili Pepper Invite finishing ahead of then No. 19 Arkansas. Leading the team is Brionne Yosten, who was Tech's top competitor in three meets this season including a season best third place finish at the UTA-Invitational.
The men have held their own but not fared as well. They started out on a good note finishing second at the UTA-Invitational with Benson Cheserek turning in a first place finish. At the Lobo Invitational the team turned in a sixth place finish, its second best finish of the season.
