Seniors to be Honored at Luncheon

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach, in conjunction with the Red Raider Club, will host a senior appreciation luncheon Thu., Dec. 5, at 11:30 a.m. at Danny's Fins & Hens (50th & Ave. Q). The event will highlight the accomplishments of the 19 Red Raider seniors from the 2002 squad.
Over the course of their four years, this season's senior class compiled a 28-21 regular-season record, including a 22-16 mark under Leach.
The 2002 seniors include CB Peter Abrigg, DL Lamont Anderson, DS Eric Bartee, LB Lennard Christensen, DB Cody Davis, DL Jeff Denton, LB Lawrence Flugence, P Clinton Greathouse, DB Joselio Hanson, RB Preston Hartfield, DE Aaron Hunt, QB Kliff Kingsbury, DL Rodney McKinney, DL Josh Page, WR Anton Paige, OL Rex Richards, DB Ricky Sailor, PK Robert Treece and DE Robert Wyatt.
The Red Raiders still have one game remaining. Texas Tech qualified for a postseason bowl berth for the 10th-straight season and are currently awaiting a bowl invitation.
