Dick Vitale and ESPN Slated for TCU Game

LUBBOCK, Texas - College basketball icon Dick Vitale will be featured as part of ESPN's broadcast team when the Red Raiders face TCU Sat., Dec. 1, at 4 p.m., at the United Spirit Arena. The game is being televised nationally.

Vitale was courtside for ESPN when the network televised its first college basketball in 1979. Since his beginning in television, Vitale has made himself a household name and has coined many household phrases now familiar with the game - "Awesome Baby," "Get a TO, Baby," "PTPer," and "Diaper Dandy."

The Red Raiders are off to a 4-1 start with wins against William & Mary, San Diego State, SMU and UTEP.
