The Red Raiders play only once in the upcoming week, taking on in-state rival Baylor Sunday at a 1 p.m. at R.P. Fuller Stadium.
Tech and Baylor have met four times since the inception of the Big 12 in 1996, and the Bears own a 4-0 series lead. Baylor, then ranked 20th in the country, took a 5-2 victory last season in Waco. Lizzy Biles scores both of Tech's goals in the loss, with Carrie Graham assisting on the first goal.
Jayhawks defeat Tech, 1-0
Kansas scores lone goal of match in final two minutes
Senior forward Lindsey Horner scored in the final two minutes of the match to lead the Kansas Jayhawks to a 1-0 defeat of Texas Tech in Lawrence, Kan. Friday afternoon.
Horner scored on an assist from Meghann Haven at the 88:46 mark in the match.
The Jayhawks outshot Tech, 15-8, in the match, including 6-4 in shots on goal. Tech keeper Brittney Peese made five saves in the loss.
Kerri Campbell had a pair of shots on goal for the Red Raiders, while Lindsey Wile and Melanie Brosnahan each tallied one shot on goal.
Tech drops 3-1 decision at Missouri
Tigers score twice late in match to take victory
The Missouri Tigers broke a 1-1 tie with 11 minutes to play in the match, then added an insurance goal in the last three minutes to post a 3-1 victory over Texas Tech Sunday in Columbia, Mo.
Melissa McLellan put the Tigers up 1-0 with a goal in the 38th minute. Nikki Thole and Mandy Waters assisted on McLellan's goal.
The Red Raiders tied the game at one in the 55th minute on a goal from Melanie Brosnahan, her fifth of the year and third in the last three matches, on an assist from freshman Rachel Mavris.
But preseason All-Big 12 selection Thole scored in the 80th minute on an assist from Dyana Russell, then put the match away for the Tigers with her second goal with just over two minutes to play on an assist from Adriene Davis.
"We played well in the first half," Tech head coach Felix Oskam said. "We were in it until about 11 minutes to go when they scored after we tried to clear the ball."
Missouri outshot Tech, 29-11, in the match, including 14-7 in shots on goal. Tech keeper JoDee Campbell made 10 saves in the match.

Junior solid in Tech's two weekend victories
Texas Tech junior goalkeeper Brittney Peese was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday, October 3.
The San Antonio, Texas, product allowed one goal in two matches.
