National TV For Tech and A&M

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced today that FOX Sports Net will nationally televise Texas Tech's Oct. 2 conference opener against Texas A&M. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Jones Stadium.

The game against the Aggies marks the second time this season that Texas Tech has been on national television, both times on FOX Sports Net. The Red Raiders season-opener against Arizona State was also a FOX national broadcast.

Texas Tech is 1-2 heading into an open date. Texas A&M is 2-0 and entertains Southern Miss Saturday.

Texas A&M leads the series 32-24-1, but Texas Tech has won three of the last four meetings, including a 16-13 victory at Jones Stadium in 1997.
