PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH (2020-24)
AT VIRGINIA (2022-24):
SENIOR SEASON (2024):
• Saw action in 16 games
• Played 552 minutes and had five shots
• Saw 57 minutes of time in the Cavaliers 2-1 win over Penn State (Aug. 22)
• Had a shot attempt in UVAs 5-0 win over Utah Valley (Aug. 25)
• Ripped a pair of shots in 60 total minutes in the Red Raiders 4-0 win over Howard (Sept. 8)
• Tallied a shot on goal in the Hoos 3-0 win over NC State (Oct. 10).
JUNIOR SEASON (2023):
• Saw action in 17 games and made 16 starts
• Had a goal and five total shots in a career-best 1062 minutes played
• Played 50+ minutes in 15 of 17 games
• Played 81 minutes in UVAs 0-0 draw against Michigan (Aug. 24)
• Had shots on goal in back-to-back wins over George Mason (Aug. 27) and WVU (Aug. 31)
• Scored the game winning goal in the Hoos 3-0 win over Virginia Tech (Oct. 15).
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022):
• Transferred to UVA after a pair of seasons at Baylor
• Appeared in 19 matches and tallied 574 minutes of action
• Tallied two assists and seven total shots
• Recorded an assist and a shot on goal in the Hoos 3-1 win over George Mason (Aug. 18)
• Ripped another shot on goal in the 6-0 win over LMU (Aug. 21)
• Had an assist in the Hoos lopsided 5-0 win over Oregon State (Sept. 8)
• Notched a pair of shots in the Cavilers 2-0 win over Louisville (Sept. 25)
• Launched her sixth shot of the season in the 2-2 draw against Syracuse (Oct. 9)
• Had a shot in UVAs 4-0 NCAA Tournament win over Farleigh Dickinson (Nov. 12)
• Saw action in the Cavs 3-2 win over Penn State (Nov. 20).
AT BAYLOR (2020-21)
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021):
• Limited to just six matches due to injury
• Scored twice in those six matches played
• Made her season debut in Bears 1-0 setback against Minnesota (Aug. 19)
• Played 36 minutes and had a shot in the Bears 4-0 win over NDSU (Aug. 22)
• Went the distance (110 minutes) in back-to-back 2OT games against Wisconsin (Sept. 5) and Oregon (Sept. 12)
• Scored her first goal of the season and had three shots (two on goal) in the 2-2 draw against the Ducks
• Found the back of the net on her lone shot in the win over SFA (Sept. 16).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2020):
• Saw action in 13 matches and made 12 starts
• Scored a goal and had four helpers
• Went the distance in six of the first seven matches and played all but six minutes in the first seven matches
• Played all 90 minutes in both the Bears contests against TCU (Sept. 11) and at Texas Tech (Sept. 18)
• Scored her first career goal at Iowa State (Sept. 25)
• Had two assists in the Bears 4-0 rout of Kansas State (Oct. 23)
• Made her first start of the spring season (season was continued due to COVID-19) tallying a pair of assists in 83 minutes against Louisiana (Mar. 27)
• Played full 90 minute efforts in the final two spring matches against Texas (Apr. 1) and Oklahoma (Apr. 10).
HIGH SCHOOL
2020 graduate of Palo Alto Senior High School in Palo Alto, Calif. … Played club with the CA Thorns Soccer Club under coach Lloyd Grist … Member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U15, U17 and U19 National Teams … Named the league’s Freshman of the Year in 2017 and earned the All-League Player Award a year later.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Haris and Caroline Japic … one of three sisters .. her middle sister, Sidney, plays at SMU now after transferring from Alabama … awarded the Presidents Gold Award Foreign Language … volunteered with the National Charity League.
