PERSONAL: Signed with Texas Tech on July 6, 2023… Major: University Studies... Son of Desmond Cambridge and Teon Cotton… Has six siblings, Desmond Jr., Jalon, Jaloni, Jasiah, Jordyn and Kennedy… His brother, Desmond Cambridge, Jr., also played Arizona State and recently signed to play for Toronto in the NBA Summer League… His father, Desmond Cambridge, played at Alabama A&M from 1998-2002. As a senior, Desmond established the NCAA record with 160 steals and 5.52 per game.
- Played in eight games before he suffered a season-ending injury with 983 points and 515 rebounds in his career
- Was averaging a career-high 10.5 points after he scored a season-high 17 points in the win over Michigan in a game where he was 6-for-10 from the field before going for 16 points at Butler on 6-for-11 shooting
